KIRKSVILLE, Mo.
Hospice of Northeast Missouri is offering a free six-week grief support group starting Oct. 5, open to Macon County residents.
The group meets 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays, Oct. 5, 12, 19 and 26 and Nov. 2 and 9, at the hospice office, 201 S. Baltimore St., according to the hospice.
It is for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one. Advance registration is required.

Topics listed by the hospice include the grief process, the difference between grief and mourning, how grief affects a family, self-care, and observing special occasions and holidays.
