Sgt. Christopher M. Turner will be promoted to lieutenant Tuesday, Sept. 1, and assigned to Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop B Headquarters in Macon.
Capt. Brian N. Anderson, Troop B commanding officer, announced the promotion in an Aug. 26 patrol release.
Turner joined the patrol on Jan. 7, 2007, in the 86th Recruit Class. He has been assigned in St. Charles County, at casinos in St. Charles and St. Louis, and as a sergeant at Mark Twain Casino in La Grange since Aug. 1, 2015.
He is from Chandlerville, Illinois, and has a bachelor's degree in law enforcement and justice administration from Western Illinois University.
